At Creative Learning Childcare, we recognize each child as an individual. We provide activities and learning experiences that enrich a child’s affective, cognitive, physical, and social development. Our certified childcare teachers understand that a child’s confidence and self-esteem are enhanced with successful interactions. We foster developmentally appropriate activities that help children mature into well-rounded and interesting individuals.

Our mission

The learning environment at Creative Learning Childcare does not stop inside the classroom. There are two large outdoor play areas for the children to explore, have fun, and develop their large motor and socialization skills. The children take walks to learn about science and our natural surroundings. Our certified teachers strive to make the outside community part of the children’s every day learning experiences. We offer a swim program for our children who are three years and older. We also have visitors from the surrounding community visit the classroom i.e. the fire department; the local green grocer, special programs about strangers as well as good and bad feelings, etc.

Health & Safety

To ensure a healthy and sanitary environment our Center is disinfected, sanitized, and cleaned on a daily basis by our staff and an in-house cleaning staff. A professional cleaning service steam cleans the carpets, changes the air filters, and provides other required upkeep.

Our staff

At Creative Learning Childcare, over 35% of our staff have their degrees or certifications in the area of early childhood education, as well as staff additional members enrolled currently in classes. In compliance with our child care license, the policies of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and the Keystone Stars Program, all staff members are required to have Act 33 and Act 34 clearances and FBI clearances. They are certified in American Red Cross Infant and Youth CPR and First Aid.
